The Company:

Trakm8 is a leading player in the global Telematics market place and fast growing vehicle fleet management industry.  Formed in 2002 Trakm8 is a young dynamic company with its head office in Shaftesbury, Dorset and offices in the Czech Republic and Coventry.  Due to expansion the following positions are now available:

Software Engineer  - £25K to £30K (dependent on experience)

A graduate with skills in PHP, Javascript, CSS, XML, C/C++, SOAP, XSLT, MySQL & Linux is sought to work developing integrated fleet management solutions based on Trakm8's Telematics platforms. The software environment and products are leading edge and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to further develop their skills. The role is based in Shaftesbury.

IT Support Engineer - £16K to £18K (dependent on experience)

A highly motivated, technically minded individual is sought to work in a small team managing Trakm8's resilient IT infrastructure for delivering mission critical 24/7 services to its customers. The role is based at Shaftesbury and most functions are managed remotely, occasional travel in the UK will be required. Full training will be provided but experience in Linux / MySQL would be an advantage.

Embedded Software Engineer - £25K to £30K (dependent on experience)

A graduate engineer, preferably with Electronics background is sought to work in a small team developing vehicle based Telematics systems. You will be involved in the full life cycle design process from design through to code and test of real-time embedded software. You will be working with a range of hardware technologies such as GPS, GSM/GPRS, vehicle CAN-bus, Accelerometers and RFID transceivers. You should be an 'expert 'with the C-programming language and preferably experience in Cortex-M3 processors, TCP/IP and vehicle CAN-bus protocols.
